DESIGN
The standard range of timber side sliding sectional doors are of an aluminium frame construction externally faced with either 16mm thick Softline profile Nordic Spruce tongue and groove boards, or with 16mm thick waterproof glued composite boards.
Softline profiles are available in either a vertical or chevron design and the composite boards available with a smooth surface or in a range of 30 standard designs to compliment all types of property from traditional to modern.
As standard, timber side sliding sectional doors are supplied with a clear base coat ready for final finish by client.
The space saving design of the timber side sliding sectional door means that there is no loss of space either internally or externally and the full structural opening both in width and height is available to drive through making it the ideal choice for families with large vehicles such as people carriers or garages bordering on public roads.
CONSTRUCTION
Timber side sliding sectional doors consist of a series of aluminium framed vertical panels attached together and externally clad with timber which run in a top track and are guided by a bottom track which is either surface mounted or sunk into the floor.
Each door is purpose made to suit the individual requirements of each garage and can be supplied either as a single door sliding in one direction or in pair with one set of panels sliding in each direction.
Flexibility of design makes the timber side sliding sectional door suitable for most applications as the curvature of the track can be varied to meet the most diverse of opening constructions.
OPERATION
The quality of the running gear supplied with the timber side sliding sectional door means that the door can be manually operated with ease but if required can be provided with the option of remote control electrical operation.
For convenience the timber side sliding sectional door can be opened as little (for personnel access) or as much (for vehicle access) as required, therefore keeping heat loss to a minimum.
Timber side sliding sectional doors travel across the lintel and down the side wall leaving the ceiling area free for storage.
WINDOW OPTIONS
All timber side sliding sectional doors can be provided with windows that are as attractive as they are practical, adding to the overall kerb appeal of the door as well as letting natural light into the garage.
Each window is housed in an aluminium frame and can be provided as either a single or double glazed acrylic glass unit.
SAFETY
All timber side sliding sectional doors are CE/TUV certified and therefore meet the stringent EU safety standards.
Finger trapping protection and hinged covers ensure total safety when opening or closing the door. Sections and profiles are designed so that no dangerous gaps form on either the inside or the outside when opening/closing.

Single Doors up to 6000mm wide x 3500mm high
Pairs of Doors up to 12000mm wide x 3500mm high
